About the show
For more than 30 years, the Hot Rod Super Nationals has been one of the biggest events in the car-crazy Mahoning Valley. Thousands of hot rods, muscle cars and street machines roll in from across the country, and car fans of every age come out to see them.
The Supernats were founded by Hot Rod Magazine itself in 1979 and made the magazine's cover every year from 1988 through 1992. After some years at Quaker City Motor Parks in Salem, the show came home to the Canfield Fairgrounds, just south of Youngstown, in 2016. Under new ownership since 2017, Canfield is where the Supernats plan to stay.
Expect three days of judged show classes, contests, vendors, food and family fun, plus the famous evening cruise down U.S. 224.

A Supernats tradition. The cruise rolls out of the fairgrounds and down U.S. 224, and you have to see it to believe it.
Bounce houses, slides and Optimus Prime replicas, with Sunday set aside as Family Day.
Automotive vendors, parts, gear and plenty of fair food across the grounds.
Thank you
Without our past vendors and sponsors, the Hot Rod Super Nationals wouldn't be possible. We're grateful for their support and for the friendships that make up the Supernats family.
